Miscellaneous speculations and cogitations from an armchair philosophist.
Watched 13 Reasons Why on Netflix. It was a well made show, but I don't get what the message was supposed to be. Feels almost like it's promoting suicide as a legitimate solution to your problems and a way to get even with people who you feel wronged you in some way. Left me feeling very unsatisfied. Maybe that was the point, but I think they were trying for something else and just missed the mark in a huge way.
rdsm.ca/dc I am going to try real hard not to get excited and overly-hyped about this. Too late, oh well.
I was already enjoying Dark Matter on Netflix, then @WilWheaton showed up and took that shit to the next level.
Started using rdsm.ca/db to time my cube solves. Got my first sub 3 minutes. Pathetic, but I hope to improve with time and practice.
Seasons 1 and 2 of #StarTrek TNG I'd already seen every episode more than once. First two episodes of season 3 so far are new to me. Insanity. What the hell is going on? I would have never guessed there were episodes of TNG that I've never seen. Not complaining at all, just shocked.
Did a little reminiscing over on The Code Word this evening about that time I trolled the entire internet rdsm.ca/d9
Watching a bit of #StarTrek TNG on the remastered blu-rays. Like hanging out with old childhood friends. This show was such a massive part of my life.
